Below is Frameless Technologies’ submission for the 2019 competition in the category of VR – Best Interactive Design. The experience leads the viewer on a self-guided tour of Paul Smith’s College, in the Adirondack region of New York state. The viewer may choose from the broad categories of Student Life, or Academics. Within those categories, the viewer has many decision points to choose what to see next in the tour.

This experience is primarily targeted for the Oculus Go headset, and uses the hand-held controller as a pointer to select options. Since the Oculus Go is not listed as an accepted VR platform in the W3 submission guidelines, we are submitting the experience for the Oculus Rift. Interactions require a tracked controller, so Oculus Touch controllers are necessary for this experience.
